We are here for our feline guests long hours each day, but we
are open by appointment only to maintain a relaxed and restful
atmosphere for our guests here at the Inn.
We do our best to keep our cat and human clients happy, as well
as maintain a healthy balance in our own personal lives.

You will not be charged for pick-up day if, when booking your
stay, you arrange to pick-up by 10:00 am.
|
 |

you request. If you pick up early, you will be billed for the
full period you reserved, unless we are able to fill the space.
|
 |
Vaccinations:
We only accept cats that have a veterinary certificate of current
vaccinations. You must provide Cat's Cottage Inn with a copy of
the veterinary record of vaccinations.
We require Rabies and Distemper Combo vaccines.
Cats that go outside must be vaccinated for Feline Leukemia or
a negative FeLuk test within the last 30 days prior to boarding
with us.
Generally we will follow the wishes of your veterinarian concerning
the vaccinations of your cat - please call us first with any questions.
|
 |
Medication:
Please advise us prior to your visit of any medication your cat
is on, so we can discuss their needs with you..
|
 |
Veterinary Services:
In the unlikely event your cat would need veterinary services
while they are with us; we have a highly qualified Veterinary
service only 15 minutes away. If your own vet is within 30 minutes
driving distance, we will take your cat to their own vet.
Veterinary services will be added to your boarding bill exactly
as they are invoiced to us from the Vet. We charge a nominal fee
of $25.00 to transport your cat to and from the clinic.
|
 |
Food:
We recommend you bring your own food from home so there is no
abrupt change in your cat's diet. Please label all of their food
containers with their name. Write down amounts to be given daily.
We will provide a dry premium food if you do not bring your own
food.
No "wet" food is provided, you must bring your own from home,
or reimburse us for the cost of providing it during your cats
visit.
We gladly cater to special diets and health concerns. Please let
us know your needs prior to boarding.
|
 |
Fleas:
We take care to ensure that our facility remains free of fleas
and they are not welcome at the Inn!!
Please check your cat for signs of fleas and flea dirt prior to
bringing your cat for their stay.
Upon your cat's arrival, we do a pre-entry check for any signs
of fleas and/or flea dirt. If during our check-in exam or at a
later time we observe evidence of fleas on your cat they will
be immediately treated with a topical product such as Advantage.
If fleas are found there is substantial cost to the owner - $50.00
or more per cat - and the possibility you could be denied boarding
your cat with us that day or in the future.
It is the responsibility of the cat's owner to make sure your
cat is protected against fleas. We recommend that all cats (indoor only cats also) be treated
with a quality flea preventative such as Advantage, Frontline
or Revolution at least 48 hours prior to boarding with us.
|
 |
What to bring from home:
Current (within the past 12 months) veterinary records of your
cats Rabies and Distemper Combo vaccinations. FeLuk vaccination
records for cats that go outside.
We prefer to supply all of your cat's bedding and food dishes
during their stay with us.
If you must bring any bedding, it is required to be freshly laundered
before you come.
Toys and brushes are welcome; just make sure you label them. No
plush toys please. You are responsible for making sure all of
your personal items go home with you during check-out.
|
 |
Cat Facts:
All cats over six months of age must be spayed or neutered.
We accept kittens if they are eating solid food on their own and
using the litter box.
|
 |
Air Quality:
Our air exchange and ventilation system changes the air at the
Inn and in all individual cat rooms frequently throughout the
day, introducing fresh air from outdoors.
We have air conditioning during hot summer months and in winter
we heat our facility with radiant floor heat - which the cats
just love - they can lie on the floor and be warm!
|
 |
Safety:
We have a double entry door system, so that our guests are always
safely enclosed in the boarding area.
Please arrive with your cat in a carrier or on a leash. Clients
are responsible for getting their cats to and from our building.
|
 |
Tours:
We are happy to give you a facility tour. Tours are given during
our regular hours of operation. We prefer to do them after 9:00
in the morning, when all of our guests have been fed their breakfast!
